Nine themes, the building blocks of our school year
We spend about four classes on each theme, so children have time to explore it without rushing. The themes are close to children's everyday lives: home, family, animals, transport and the seasons. In every class, children also learn a new English word.

Fairy tales and their characters
Familiar fairy-tale heroes become the first building projects. Children choose the pieces, create their own scene and tell us what happens in it.

Farm and animals
Children build shelters and pens for farm animals and talk about how we look after animals and why safety matters.

Trains and counting
LEGO DUPLO carriages become a real train. Children count the cargo, compare quantities and learn how to stay safe near railway tracks.

The playground and safety

Animals from around the world
A journey to meet animals you won't see in Latvia. Children find out where they live, what they eat and how they differ from the animals we know.

Colours and shapes
Children recognise colours and shapes, sort pieces by their features and build colourful structures to a plan they come up with themselves.

My home
The theme closest to every child: their own home, their own room, their own family. Through building, children learn to talk about themselves.
